Jagenberg welcomes new Sustainability Manager
Sascha Schneiderwind expands the pool of experts at Jagenberg with another valuable member and now actively supports the Group as Sustainability Manager.
Mr. Schneiderwind previously demonstrated his three years of professional experience in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies as a project and department manager in the insurance sector. At one of the largest European insurers, he and his team implemented strategies to actively manage the emissions profile of operational processes, developed a framework for defining sustainable solutions, and transparently disclosed sustainability aspects within the group.
While in his old work environment it was more about virtual emissions, the innovation-driven Aachen resident now has the opportunity to take responsibility directly at the source and make a difference.

Short- and long-term goals for the Group
For Sustainability Manager Mr. Schneiderwind, the first step is to get a sense of the sustainability-related risks and opportunities along Jagenberg Group's value chain. The establishment of an internal sustainability team with representatives from across the group will help develop and implement a common strategy. This should be in line with the company's values and create added value for customers, employees and the local community.
