Successful Completion of the JUMP Program
After 15 intensive months, the final event of the JUMP Program (Jagenberg Upskilling Mentoring Program) took place at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Bocholt in mid-March.
The Jagenberg Group’s company-wide development program has been designed specifically to support young talents in their professional and personal growth. These so-called “mentees” are employees working for Kampf GmbH, Lebbing automation & drives GmbH, and Jagenberg Converting Solutions GmbH.
As part of the event, the mentees presented the results of their cross-company project work. Working in interdisciplinary teams over several months, they explored key topics for the future—including sustainability, knowledge management, and the principle of reverse mentoring. The concepts they developed are an impressive token of the innovative potential the next generation of professionals and leaders harbors.
Close guidance by experienced employees is a key component of the JUMP program. Throughout the entire duration of the project, each mentee received support by a mentor. In addition, workshops and collaborative work sessions provided opportunities for exchange, reflection, and targeted skill development.
The closing event was hosted by one of the program's co-initiators, Heinrich Thorwesten (HR Strategies & Projects at Kampf GmbH), and co-led by Stephan Labrenz, Managing Director of the ime (Institute for Management Development). He has been supporting the project from the very beginning. In addition to representatives of the management teams from the various companies, guests also included colleagues from the HR and communications departments who actively helped shape the program.
The participants’ development over the past few months underscores the importance of targeted talent development within the group. Programs like JUMP play a key role in identifying potential, strengthening it, and fostering it over the long term.
The Jagenberg Group would like to thank everyone involved for their dedication and contribution to the program’s success.
